The Challenge:
Due to our successful completion of the first clean room project, LifeNet selected ColonialWebb Contractors to be the sole source of construction support for an additional 10 clean rooms.
Along with our mechanical, piping and insulation services, we earned a separate contract to be the on-site liaison that will coordinate the entire project.
Our Approach:
To properly manage the job, ColonialWebb assembled its own team and supervised the other trades that LifeNet contracted separately.
Our part of the construction work consisted of installing distinct bio-plus air filtration units and air handling units for each individual clean room. The units needed extensive, elaborate ductwork to ensure absolute air quality. We also established specialized processed air and gas piping to support each room.
Because of the stringent demands for a controlled environment, we required absolute attention to detail and cleanliness throughout all phases of the construction process. We exceeded expectations, and we completed the project on time and within budget.
