The Challenge:
Duvall Investments is one of the largest property management companies in Charlotte. The condominium residents frequently complained about malfunctioning air conditioners and exhaust fans – common problems that occur with improper equipment and maintenance.
The client tasked ColonialWebb Contractors with finding ways to resolve the mechanical issues and develop a plan to save money.
Our Approach:
We installed carbon monoxide sensors in one multi-story parking deck to control noisy exhaust fans that were keeping tenants awake at night. At a nine-story condominium complex, we resolved issues with an air conditioning unit that had been improperly set and was unable to stay on line.
We’ve developed a strong relationship with Duvall, which resulted in scheduled maintenance service agreements on many of their properties. Since then, we have cut costs for our client in both operating expenses and overall utility bills while helping to make living conditions more comfortable for their valued residents.
