The Challenge:
ColonialWebb Contractors provided refrigeration design, engineering and construction for this large facility addition and renovation. The facility includes more than 500,000 square feet of mixed dry storage and refrigerated storage.

 

Our Approach:
ColonialWebb analyzed the client’s refrigeration needs and tailored a plan accordingly. The company needed a refrigeration capacity of 1,258 tons at +15 degrees and -19 degrees. The facility also required 22 tons of ice cream freezer capacity at -30 degrees.

 

The project necessitated extraordinary coordination in executing the refrigeration renovation of the engine room. We completely removed the low-stage system and replaced it in a single weekend to maintain the required temperatures.

 

We successfully accomplished the conversion ahead of schedule thanks to exceptional prefabrication and planning.
