Yankee Candle Factory, Williamsburg, Virginia
The Challenge:
As a 64,900 square-foot retail center, the Yankee Candle Factory houses an array of distinctive mini-stores, each needing its own specialized lighting and electrical systems.
ColonialWebb Contractors agreed to instal all mechanical, piping, plumbing, insulation and electrical systems throughout the entire facility. The required systems consisted of many intricate details to support the facility’s elaborate specifications for theatrical robotics and animatronics.
Unforeseen rain and snow made working conditions next to impossible and pushed the schedule back nearly a month and a half.
Our Approach:
ColonialWebb installed 22 RTUs, three mini-split systems, and numerous PRVs supported with duct that we manufactured. Our piping and plumbing work included:
- Numerous restroom facilities
- Support for kitchen and refrigeration equipment
- Complete compressed air unit
Despite numerous weather-related obstacles, we completed the project prior to the revised scheduled deadline.
