Adam Trowbridge was born in Long Island NY and raised in Williamsburg, VA where, as a child, he was exposed to the construction industry. His dad was a general contractor, and Adam grew up in the construction world, helping his dad. In 2004, after graduating from high school, he entered the Marines and had multiple deployments overseas. Adam was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2008 Adam finished his enlistment and moved to New Kent, VA where he began to attain his bachelor’s degree. He graduated Magna cum laude from VCU in 2013 with a degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
ColonialWebb teamed up with a Veterans liaison through the Virginia Employment Commission, who introduced Adam to ColonialWebb. After graduation, Adam became a part of the ColonialWebb family as an Assistant Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator for our Industrial Refrigeration (IR) division. He was quickly promoted to the PSM Coordinator, and for the next two and half years, Adam learned the IR business, built and maintained customer relationships and helped customers maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Safety has always been Adam’s passion, and so when the role of Health and Safety Coordinator became available, he applied and was quickly selected as the perfect match. In this position, Adam’s role shifted to internal customers (employees) where he supports our Hampton Roads service, special projects, and IR groups in multiple states.
Adam is a certified First Aid CPR, AED instructor, and authorized OSHA outreach trainer. He is currently pursuing a certificate in Safety Management from the American Society of Safety Professionals.
Adam is a member of the Disabled Americans Veterans Organization. He loves the outdoors, spending time with his wife and two little girls, and without hesitation, is always willing and able to help his neighbors, friends, and coworkers when needed. We are proud that Adam is part of the ColonialWebb family!
